Laminated Rosewood Fretboard

From august 1962 till 1980 fender used a curved bottom rosewood fingerboard that was much thinner than the slab board.

As far as fender style electrics i prefer the round laminated rosewood boards. The rosewood is a thinner veneer than the slab board necks which are a much thicker piece of rosewood. Btw when done correctly the glue joint is actually stronger than the wood around it. I have a few questions regarding the laminate rosewood on the back and sides of my 210e what exactly is the difference between it and non laminate rosewood.
