Kitchenaid Refrigerator Over Temp Reset

The freezer seems to be working.
Kitchenaid refrigerator over temp reset. To let you know an over temperature condition occurred the indicator light will continue to flash until the reset alarm touch pad is pressed. It should be between 35 and 40 degrees fahrenheit. I need your help with common kitchenaid refrigerator problems. A freezer should be between 0 to 5 degrees fahrenheit.
There is nothing blocking the airflow vents from the freezer to the fridge and i cleaned out ice build up in the top shelf vent. If they aren t cleaned a couple times a year the refrigerator won t be efficient. To make the refrigerator less cold adjust the control to the next lower setting. Seems to be working.
Hi guys perhaps someone can assit. If the over temperature condition is still present when an over temp reset is performed the indicator light will continue to reactivate every 4 hours until refrigerator and freezer temperatures are below 45 f 7 c and 15 f 9 c respectively. To make the refrigerator colder adjust the control to the next higher setting. All fans compressors baffles etc are working properly through.
Repeat this process until the desired temperature is reached. The over temperature reset alarm starting going off a few days ago. The over temperature alarm started beeping which led to finding the temperature in the refrigerator had raised to 50 degrees. Then reconnect the refrigerator to the electrical supply and reset the refrigerator control.
I have a kitchenaid side by side fridge. Gently remove the bulb and reinsert. For the last month or so my kitchenaid side by side refrigerator over temperature reset button alarm keeps going off. To the fridge and i cleaned out ice build up in the top shelf vent.
We have a kitchenaid side by side built in frig. Disconnect the refrigerator from the electrical supply. Turn the refrigerator control to off. When the fridge thermostat requests more cold air the compressor kicks on and the refrigerant becomes high pressure moving through the cooling coils while fans push the cool air into the fridge and freezer compartments.
If dirty coils aren t the problem check and reset the temperature in the food compartment.
